The Christmas Raccoons
by Chris McGuire
"Have you ever had a dream that seemed real? Or felt that real life seemed like a dream?"
It's the day before Christmas, Bert Raccoon is singing carols, the Evergreen Forest is covered in snow, and someone's cutting down all the trees...
Wait a minute, that's not very festive!
While Ranger Dan is called out to catch the tree thief, his two children are more concerned about not having a Christmas tree of their own.
Setting out on a tree hunt, Julie, Tommy, and their old sheepdog, Schaeffer, find the tree of their dreams – and as luck would have it – it's already been chopped down. But this tree is special. It happens to be the home of the Raccoons...
This book is based on the original Raccoons film from 1980, which celebrated its forty-fifth anniversary in 2025.
