It’s Christmas Eve, and Sergeant John Benton is persuaded to tell one last story.

But this isn’t one of Benton’s usual tales of UNIT, alien invasions and narrow escapes. This time, a mysterious disturbance leads him into another dimension, where he discovers Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart and his team fighting a desperate battle for survival.

Benton has somehow been transported back to the original Yeti invasion. But this time, the Doctor never turned up. And behind the invasion stands an old enemy: the sinister Tobias Vaughn, whose plans have brought an entire world to the brink of destruction.

As Benton encounters familiar faces in unfamiliar circumstances, he discovers that he may hold information vital to the resistance. But there is another presence at work, one with plans that reach across dimensions and threaten Benton’s own world.

Was this extraordinary Christmas Eve adventure really a journey into another reality? Or was it something else entirely?

Even Benton isn’t sure.
